A combination of knowledge and experience
across various industries

I'm in the professional services industry for nearly 25 years, thereof 4 years as a Management Consultant with a particular focus on IT/Processes/Projects and more than 14 years in the legal services market. 

What I've learned over the past years? That most if not all that is impacting the legal market is not new. It may be new for lawyers in legal departments and law firms - it's not new to their colleagues in other departments or functions.

Whether it's supplier or client management, process optimization, project management, design/development/deployment of technology,  communications, people development or simply the development and management of a budget - all of this is quite common to your colleagues, and some of them sit just around the corner.

The legal industry needs to become more diverse in each and every aspect, including the acceptance of so called "non-lawyers". It's exactly that expertise that we need to transform the market. 

Based on my work for law firms and legal departments, I know and am part of the industry.

In 2018 I founded the first legal operations roundtable with legal department and law firm representatives in Germany,  in 2019 I initiated the annual Legal Operations Conference, the first and only conference dedicated to legal operations,  Legal Operations Jahreskonferenz jointly with JUVE. 

I'm the Program Director of the Bucerius Legal Operations Campus and I've been attending the CLOC Conference in Las Vegas since 2018.
